Expanding its cost-effective Intel H81 product line, DFI has introduced a new microATX industrial motherboard. Powered by the 4th generation Intel Core processor family (which delivers a 5-15% CPU performance increase over previous generations), the HD330-H81 is suitable for applications including gaming machine, industrial control automation, medical equipment, telecom, POS, kiosk, and transportation.

By integrating the Intel HD Graphics engine (with Graphics APIs including DirectX 11.1 and OpenGL 4.0), DFI has enabled support for 20 graphics execution units. The Intel HD Graphics engine also includes Intel Clear Video Technology which supports advanced imaging capabilities for Blu-Ray and other high definition video processing including image stabilization, gamut mapping and frame rate conversion. Equipped with one HDMI and one DVI-I display outputs, the HD330-H81 supports up to 4096x2304 @ 24Hz resolution and up to 1920x1200 @ 60Hz resolution. DirectX Video Acceleration support for accelerating video processing further improves performance.

The industrial motherboard features two DDR3L SODIMM sockets delivering maximum performance up to 16GB for faster communication between components. An S/PDIF audio interface and 1 Intel Gigabit LAN controller provides 5.1-channel high definition audio. Thanks to the Intel H81 Express chipset, power is delivered faster and more efficently with improved and flexible I/O, including: eight USB ports, three SATA ports, two COM ports, one parallel connector, one LPC connector for additional COM/Parallel ports, and an 8-bit digital I/O connector for device controls.

Multiple expansion configurations are supported with the inclusion of one PCIe x16, one PCIe x4 (x1 signal), two PCI and one Mini PCIe slots. These offer additional capabilities for various demands, enabling the HD330-H81 to fit market segments such as medical, retail, kiosk and industrial manufacturing.
