GL Communications Inc. announced today the availability of IPNetSim - A simple to use tool that simulates an entire IP Network in one box. Speaking to newsmen, Mr. Vijay Kulkarni CEO of the company said, “IPNetSim™ simulates IP networks. Interfaces for 100 Mbps copper to 4 (Four) 1 Gbps interfaces are available.”
He said, “IPNetSim™ simulate all conditions encountered in real-time such as network latency, network delay variation (jitter), bandwidth congestion, packet loss, bit errors and more and every lab should have one.” He added, “Impairments can be independently applied to either or both directions.”

Mr. Kulkarni further added, “The IPNetSim™ with the 1Gbps option can emulate up to 4 separate individual 1 Gbps interfaces simultaneously for an aggregate throughput of 4 Gbps, making it ideal for both multi-link configurations and multi-user labs. The compact 1U-sized appliance includes both copper and modular fiber/copper Gigabit Ethernet interfaces”.

Some of the Important Features:

• Easy to Use – no software, plug and play

• Bandwidths from 10 Mbps to r 1 Gbps

• Up to 4 Interfaces with the IPN400
