NEXCOM have announced the release of a new series of fieldbus-enabled industrial panel PCs which are compatible with most PLCs in the world. The NEXCOM fieldbus-enabled industrial panel PC series is suited for monitoring and management of equipment, production lines, environments, power, and facilities.

Integrating Hilscher fieldbus technology with Schneider Citect software, the new industrial panel PC series supports PROFINET, PROFIBUS, DeviceNet, EtherNet/IP and EtherCAT protocols. It can communicate with the PLCs, PC-based controllers and remote I/Os from major brand names, including Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Beckhoff, and Schneider Electronics.

Helping system integrators circumvent the perennial problem of fieldbus compatibility, the NEXCOM fieldbus-enabled industrial panel PC series provides a comprehensive overview of ongoing activities in a factory. Enabling 20% savings, this can speed up SCADA/HMI solution delivery by weeks. While the screen brightness can be adjusted using backlight control buttons, the NEXCOM fieldbus-enabled industrial panel PC series features two RS232/422/485 ports and four channels of DI/O which offer 2.5KV isolated protection.

Typical applications include facility management, equipment monitoring and management, production line monitoring and management, environmental monitoring, capacity management, and power management.

The new industrial panel PC series is available now with a variety of options including 12.1", 15", 17" or 19" screen sizes and SVGA, XGA or SXGA displays.
