A 4.3” HMI panel has been released by ICOP Technology, expanding its range of 5.7 -15” panel PCs. According to the company, the expansion I/O bus featured within the HMI-043T allows for the highest flexibility and customisability available in the market.

Featuring DMP’s Vortex86EX CPU, the fanless, low-power HMI panel operates from a -20 to +60°C temperature range. The device’s front panel, including the resistive touchscreen, is IP65 compliant. Available in either PoE (IEEE 802.3at), or +7 to +24V versions, the HMI-043T has an SD Card slot, USB, CAN and LAN interfaces.

Offered in a 116x94x34mm metal enclosure as well as an open frame version which can be integrated into the customer’s own housing, the HMI panel supports DOS, Linux, Windows CE and RTOS. The HMI-043T is priced at €99 and sold in 100 piece quantities.

Yin-Chen Chou , President and CEO of the European Headquarters , ICOP Technology commented: "Our sandwich-layered approach, separating the typical functions inside a panel PC into a CPU and display and an I/O board layer, allows us to offer a level of customisability in this class of products. Now the customer can choose from either a standard off-the-shelf device or a custom-made product, in which the I/O board is developed by himself or by ICOP Technology, only including the features and interfaces the customer requires.”
