Eurotech introduce a new Intel Atom based Industrial Compact Enclosure (ICE).

The Catalyst EC ICE is ideal for applications such as Remote Telematics, Wireless Data Acquisition, Multimedia and Process Control. It provides all the benefits of Intel’s latest Atom LPIA architecture in a rugged enclosure comprising of a processor module and carrier board. The rugged CE compliant system offers a high performance, low power consumption fanless solution, which is compatible with all major desktop and embedded operating systems.

The Catalyst EC ICE comes with a comprehensive range of onboard peripherals, and offers expansion possibilities via a PCI Express Mini Card socket. Local storage is provided by an internal solid-state, or mechanical hard drive.
