Axiomtek today announced the NA-813FL, a small form factor, fanless network appliance platform built around an Intel® 945GSE Express chipset and Intel® Atom™ processor N270 with four Gigabit Ethernet ports for the SOHO market segment. The cost-effective NA-813FL running on the Intel® Atom™ processor N270 1.6GHz delivers low-power and performance-per-watt. The fanless network appliance platform is integrated with four Gigabit Ethernet ports with one pair supporting LAN bypass function (optional) enhanced reliability required in field application. Furthermore, the noiseless yet super compact unit comes in a small package with a height of just 44mm and a weight of 2.5 kg. It can easily fit into any space-limited and harsh environments. Axiomtek’s NA-813FL fanless network appliance platform is an excellent choice for applications in VPN, content filtering, UTM, network security gateway and firewall.
The NA-813FL has powerful storage interfaces including one 2.5” SATA hard disk drive bay and a CompactFlash™ card. One DDR2 SODIMM slot supports 400/533 memory up to 2GB capacity. Other I/O features include one DB9 console ports, two USB 2.0 ports, and power connector. It also supports mainstream Linux kernel 2.6 operating system.
