Supporting the 3rd and 2nd Intel Core processors, the EC300 fanless embedded system has been introduced by DFI. The system takes full advantage of the Intel QM77 chipset which is packed with high performance I/O capabilities to provide increased mobile computing and graphics performance.

The integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000 engine delivers up to 50% 3D graphics performance improvement. In addition, EC300 is designed with 1 mini PCIe slot that supports Wi-Fi module or mSATA and 1 optional riser card that supports 3G. The unique modular-concept construction supports various system configurations using four riser cards with different expansion slots and five replaceable I/O modules in a cable-free assembly.

EC300-CR4866 is one of the particular combinations. This system allows both data and power to be directly passed over Ethernet cables via the 4 PoE Gigabit LAN ports. This unique design not only simplifies the task of powering devices in remote locations but also enhances the flexibility. In order to meet other specification requirements, the virtually unlimited system configurations are possible using low-cost ODM I/O modules.

Based on the expansive features described above, EC300 is the suited for any type of industrial applications.
