Equipped with the Intel QM87 chipset and a dual-core fourth-generation Intel Core processor i5-4400E (2.7GHz, 3MB), the high-performance N1-QM87 embedded PC has been introduced by DSM Computer. This box PC offers high computing, graphical and video performance in a robust 204x226x79mm industrial housing.

Thanks to an innovative ventilation concept, the NanoServer N1-QM87 operates over a temperature range from 0 to 50°C. Additionally, DSM can supply the box IPC with the quad-core Intel Core i7-4700EQ (2.4GHz, 6MB) which operates at temperatures up to 45°C. The IntelHD4600 graphic controller integrated in the processor ensures excellent video and graphic performance and the N1-QM87 features DVI-I, DVI-D and DisplayPort graphical interfaces for two independent, high-resolution displays.

As standard, the embedded PC includes a 60GB mSATA SSD without any moving parts or extensive wiring. This enables faster starting of the computer and more reliably operation in harsh industrial environments, compared to an HDD. Optionally, the system can be equipped with up to two 2.5" SSDs/HDDs, one of which is directly accessible from the maintenance-friendly base cover. The fast onboard DDR3 RAM main memory can be expanded to a maximum capacity of 16GB.

For system expansions, the high-end N1-QM87 offers a PCI Express x16 slot for short cards and two internal Mini PCI Express x1 slots (one of which is designed to provide mSATA support). For fast data transfer, four external USB 3.0 and six USB 2.0 (two external, four internal) ports are available. The embedded system also provides two 000 Base-T LAN interfaces, four serial connections (three RS232, one RS232/422/485), audio and internal Serial ATA for four SATA III 600 devices and two SATA II 300 devices (RAID 0, 1, 0+1,5 configurable for all connections). Additionally, it offers a 12/24V DC wide-range power input and an external 100-240V AC power pack (120W).
