System designers who want to reduce space without compromising quality or performance will find the new PDX-057T Micro Panel PC from Datasound Laboratories the ideal solution with no moving parts to affect longevity.
Weighing only 374g and housed in a black die cast enclosure measuring just 152mm x 112mm x 33 mm, the PDX-057T is fitted with a 5.7 640x480 400 cd/m2 TFT screen with user friendly viewing angles of 100° (vertical) and 140° (horizontal). LED backlit with a predicted life of 25,000 hours, the unit has a USB analog resistive touch which has a durability of 1 million touches.

Based on the 1GHz Vortex86DX CPU, the fanless PC features a Compact Flash and Micro SD slot, LAN, 2 USB 2.0 ports, one RS-232 port, 256MB/512MB DDR2 memory. Audio line out/, an additional USB port and a Mini-PCI expansion slot or wireless LAN adaptor are optional.

Power conscious projects are catered for with the PDX-057T using just 1.3A at 5V DC and

operating system options are equally satisfied with the computer’s support of DOS, Linux, Windows CE and Windows XPe any of which can be supplied pre installed to flash memory. OEMs can also take advantage of DSL’s volume offer to customize the OS free of charge.

Certified to CE, FCC, UL and VCCI and really professionally packaged the PDX-057T is ideally suited for home, office, industrial or indeed mobile applications as an 8V to 35V DC variant is shortly to be launched and makes it ideal suited for vehicular / marine projects. The PDX-057T has pre-drilled VESA 75 holes to the rear.
