Now available from Solid State Supplies is the Enfora GSM1308 SA-G+ compact standalone IP modem with full GSM/GPRS/EDGE voice and data features. The SA-G+ is a certified quad-band integrated platform that enables simple integration through a serial or USB connection. For a limited time, the GSM108 SA-G+ is shipping from Solid State Supplies with a trial SIM card from Wireless Logic, allowing users to test their applications without the need to find a GSM data service provider. The trial SIM lasts for 30 days. Wireless Logic is a specialist provider of machine-to-machine (M2M) fixed IP, GSM and GPRS solutions that provides full mobile data solutions across all major networks. Also available from Solid State Supplies is the matching quad band antenna from Pulse.
The Enfora GSM1308 SA-G+ is an integrated platform housed in an enclosure measuring 63.5 x 63.5 x 23.9 mm. Supply voltage is 6 to 40V DC. The device connects to an RF antenna via an SMA connector and the product features an indicator LED which indicates successful GSM registration. The included modem-management software supports Windows XP, Professional 2000 and 98SE on selected models, and features auto-registration on start-up.
