American Industrial Systems Inc. (AIS), has introduced a new low cost Touch Screen Panel PC line featuring Intel Celeron and Core 2 Processors packaged in a rugged aluminum steel enclosure to withstand tough industrial environments. Integrated touchscreens, aluminum IP65 rated front bezels, and industrial grade LCD panels are standard equipment throughout the line. They are currently available in 7”, 12”, 15”, and 17” sizes; the 7” and 12” feature the fanless Intel Ultra Low Voltage Celeron M processor, leveraging the best cost & performance ratio. For a high power solution the 15” and 17” Panel PC run on the Intel Core 2 Duo Platform with Intel Q965 Chipset, which meets the requirements of the most interactive and system demanding clients.

From fanless to high performance AIS can provide a solution to meet the demands of today’s applications ranging from machine HMI control, process monitoring, digital signage, HVAC control and similar industrial requirements.

The units are encased in an aluminum and steel housing, protecting the components from harsh industrial environments including shock/vibration, dust, water, and temperature shocks. Standard VESA spaced holes and flush panel mounting options are available for easy deployment integration into existing or new systems. With touchscreen capability, ruggedized housing, and optional wireless connectivity, the AIS’ Low Cost Panel PC line is a powerful cost effective unit to answer the demand for semi-ruggedized touchscreen computers in the industrial marketplace.
