ADC KRONE today announced its new TrueNet Plug-and-Play Fibre Solution. Designed to accommodate the optimum number of managed fibre connections on a frame without affecting the potential for future growth, ADC KRONE’s Fibre Plug-and-Play Solution offers flexibility without disruption.
The offering, based around an MPO (Multi-Push-On) pre-terminated fibre technology, eliminates the need for onsite splicing and thereby greatly reduces installation and maintenance times and costs. The ADC KRONE approach focuses on Managed Density, which ensures the network operates at optimum efficiency and can be changed and upgraded frequently with minimal disruption.

“Data centre managers are under increasing pressure not only to reduce downtime, but also to reduce overheads, energy consumption, heat emissions and floor space – all without compromising on performance,” said Alastair Waite, Head of Market Management in EMEA for ADC KRONE. “Our Plug-and-Play Solution with Managed Density for rapid deployment and minimal downtime enables up to 100Gig transmission and provides a comprehensive answer to the challenges facing data centre managers today.”

The company’s product portfolio includes Plug-and-Play MPO solutions for placement in the main distribution area (MDA), zone distribution area (ZDA), backbone and horizontal and equipment distribution areas (HDA and EDA) of data centres.

Compliant up to 100Gig Ethernet Transmission (IEEE 802.3 ba), ADC KRONE can ensure that the network meets current and future technology trends while the TrueNet System Warranty provides reassurance that the network will be completely free of bit errors (as a result of the cabling infrastructure) for the first 20 years of operation.
