Allowing users to monitor and log data from multiple CAN channels using just one device, the Memorator Pro 5xHS five-channel CAN-to-USB interface and datalogger has been released Kvaser. The high-speed device not only time synchronises the data transmitted and received across all five buses but also automatically synchronises with other Kvaser interfaces connected to the same PC, resulting in a more accurate multichannel data capture.

Pre-validated for international EMVCo and Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards, the device provides a universal solution for all payment technologies.
NAND flash solutions target connected cars
NAND flash solutions, designed for next-gen ‘connected cars’ and automotive infotainment systems, have been introduced by SanDisk. The company’s portfolio of automotive storage solutions includes an automotive grade SanDisk SD card and iNAND embedded flash drive. The devices, which are AEC-Q100 qualified, are available in capacities of up to 64GB and operate across a temperature range of -40 to 85ºC.
Touch panel computer features a Mohs hardness of 7
Designed for embedded computing or machine control applications, the GOT3187W-834-PCT multi-touch panel computer has been released by Axiomtek. Operating across a temperature range of -10 to +50°C, the fanless device features an 18.5” WXGA TFT LCD. The computer, which is based on the quad-core J1900 Intel Celeron processor, enables fast data acquisition and communication through built-in high-speed LAN ports and USB ports.
Smart antenna positioning modules enable IoT technology
Enabling the adoption of IoT technology, Telit Wireless Solutions has introduced positioning modules with embedded smart antennas. Measuring 11x11mm, the Jupiter SE868-A multi-constellation GNSS module features embedded Flash memory and integrated LNA on one side and an SMT antenna on the other. The Galileo ready device supports simultaneous tracking of GPS, QZSS and Glonass.

Cadence's processor selected for use in IoT WiFi chips
Espressif Systems has selected the Cadence Tensilica Xtensa processor for use in its ESP8089 and ESP8266 WiFi chips, which are optimised for IoT applications. To achieve the best power, performance and area results, Espressif have customised the processor. The processor will be used as a DSP and control processor with a RTOS that runs Espressif’s WiFi and TCP/IP stacks and other application software.
