USB 3.1 Type C connector allows for easy and reliable mating
By adding a Gen 2 version of their Hybrid USB 3.1 connector, Kycon has expanded its USB Type C series. The KUSBX-SMTTH-CS1 series can handle up to 10Gbps speed, offering what it claims to be significantly faster data rates than the standard USB 2.0 or Gen 1 products. It features a reversible mating interface and is designed to accept a plug in any direction which allows for easy and reliable mating.
Typical applications include industrial, A/V video switches, business equipment, tablets, smart phones, PCs, laptops and wearables. Key features:
