GTK's latest range of low-profile Light Jack RJ45 network sockets integrate status LEDs, to save space and cost. They are RoHS compliant.
By incorporating the LEDs within the RJ45 socket itself, GTK has kept the size of single-socket devices down to 15.15 x 15.75mm for the unshielded version – 13.15 x 13.46 for shielded devices - these feature conductive tabs to ground directly to a panel.

Light Jack sockets can include either one or two LEDs each, in red, green, yellow and bi-colour yellow/green or red/green. Located on top of the socket for easy visibility, the LEDs can be programmed to perform different functions, including on/off status indicator or flashing indicator of data traffic.

In addition to single-socket connectors, ‘harmonica’ variants are available incorporating up to eight sockets and 16 LEDs. A specially developed inverted latch on top of each socket allows easy plug insertion and removal

They are available in through-hole or surface mount assembly styles. All Light Jacks meet or exceed FCC Part 68 specifications.
