Panel feed-through housings, which are sealed on both sides, have been introduced by HARTING. Both the cable side and the device side of the Han HPR housings meet the requirements of IP66 and IP68 according to IEC 60529. By designing the housings in such a way, HARTING have removed the possibly of corrosion as the seals prevent condensation from the device side reaching the contacts.

Protecting the contact area against corrosion, shock and vibration, the panel feed-through housings are manufactured in die-cast aluminium. The Han HPR housings, which can be installed both inside and outside, are available in 6, 10, 16 and 24B sizes. The housings are suitable for fire-protection applications in rail vehicles, which require sealing against fire and smoke in both directions.

The panel feed-through housings are offered with the standard screw locking for the Han HPR housing range. To reduce time and cost, the housings’ cable sets can be supplied pre-assembled.
