Mouser Expands FCI Portfolio with FCI-BURNDY Products

Mouser has announced the expansion of its FCI portfolio to include BURNDY Products from the supplier’s electrical division, FCI Electrical. FCI-BURNDY Products include a complete range of electrical products that cater to the vast power utility sector, including construction, maintenance and repair, public services, and central office.

“FCI-BURNDY Products is the brand preference leader when it comes to compression and mechanical connectors and Mouser is one of the leaders in the distribution channel targeting design engineers. When leaders combine their efforts it typically leads to a very beneficial business relationship, which is what we envision with FCI-BURNDY Products and Mouser,” said Paul Werthman, FCI EPI America’s Vice President of Marketing.

According to Barry McConnell, Mouser’s Vice President of Product Marketing, the distributor is known for its rapid introduction of new product solutions to design engineers.

“Adding FCI-BURNDY Products to the Mouser linecard enhances our product offering and allows us to honor our commitment to deliver high quality, innovative products to the design engineering community,” McConnell said.

The enhanced linecard will include UNIRAP, Halar, Velcro and stainless steel cable ties, as well as heat shrink tubing, cable hangers, mounting bases, and cable tie tools. UNIRAP nylon cable ties are tough, resilient, lightweight, and abrasion resistant ties that offer high tensile strength and are chemically resistive to solvents, alkalies, grease, and diluted acids. Halar ties meet NEC regulations and are ideal for applications where low-smoke and low-flame are a concern, such as air-handling spaces.
