Inaugural Distributor Conference was UK Launchpad for HUBER+SUHNER's New Brand Image
HUBER+SUHNER’s first UK Distributor Conference was used for the launch of its new brand image. Designed to graphically illustrate the company’s three areas of technology expertise and its three key market sectors, the new brand image reinforces HUBER+SUHNER’s promise of “Excellence in Connectivity Solutions”.
Specialising in electrical and optical connectivity products, HUBER+SUHNER operates in three technology areas – radio frequency, fibre optic and low frequency – across the three market sectors of communications, transportation and industrial.

The real focus of HUBER+SUHNER’s UK Distributor Conference, however, was to give the company’s distributors a unique opportunity to learn about upcoming products, technology developments and an insight into the market areas seen as having significant growth potential for those involved at the high performance end of the connectivity spectrum.

HUBER+SUHNER’s UK distribution network is built around market leading distributors that operate across the company’s three key market sectors. They are Acal BFi, Anixter, Croylek, Lane Electronics and Rail Order as well as RS Components and Farnell.

The distributor conference was partly held at HUBER+SUHNER’s UK HQ at Bicester where, among other things, the company produces small volume electrical and fibre cable assemblies. Executives from each distributor present were given the opportunity to build a cable assembly with a prize going to the builder of the best one. According to HUBER+SUHNER’s Commercial Director Phil Stanway, the cable assembly built by competition winner Hayley Currie of Rail Order was easily good enough to ship to a customer.
