Connectors provide high reliability for medical equipment
Designed specifically for rack and panel applications, the Positronic GMTC connector series has been released by Lane Electronics. The connectors are particularly suitable for applications that demand high reliability including navigational systems, rolling stock, medical equipment, instrumentation and process control.
A variety of wire gauges can be terminated in a single device. The connectors, which are suitable for use as a ruggedised power connector, have a maximum current per contact of up to 13A and can accommodate contact sizes 16 or 20 in 16 configurations.
A number of models are certified to MIL-DTL-28748 and SAE AS39029, making them suitable for a variety of mission critical applications. For aircraft installations, a grounding block connector is available.
The Positronic GMTC connectors are optionally available with multiple keying. Crimp and solder cup terminations are also available for wire, and solder and press fit for PCB.
