Lane Electronics can supply customer specified MIL-C-26482 circular connectors in just 48 hours. Manufactured in the UK by Lane’s sister company Weald Electronics, the LMH Series connectors are designed specifically to meet the requirements of MIL-C-26482 Series 1 and Patt 105 and have also been approved to IECQ-CECC spec BS/CECC 75201-003 and BS 9522 F0017.

According to Simon Hammerton, Managing Director, Lane Electronics, one or two UK suppliers are promoting circular connectors designed to perform to MIL-C-26482 Series 1.

“While I have no doubt that these connectors are designed to comply with this tough standard, customers need to be sure that they are produced with full traceability on all materials and manufactured and supplied from AS9100, ISO 9001:2008 and QPL qualified companies like Lane and Weald Electronics.” Mr Hammerton says.

Weald has been manufacturing high performance circular connectors for almost 40 years and numbers practically every major military and industrial product and systems manufacturer and contractor among its customer base. According to Simon Hammerton, Weald’s LMH connectors can often be more cost effective than products produced overseas including those built in the Far East.

Lane Electronics can supply standard LMH series connectors from stock in a variety of shell sizes and styles as well as several contact arrangements. In addition, they can be supplied as free shells with grounding fingers. Maximum current rating is 45A and peak working voltages can be as high as 1500V – DC or AC.

Because Lane always maintains a huge inventory of shell styles, contacts and accessories the company can assemble to specific requirements and normally deliver within 48 hours. All versions can be specified in a variety of RoHS compliant finishes and can incorporate a wide selection of accessories including J sealing glands and protective caps.
