The Euro-Top FrontFix cable gland from RST Rabe-System-Technik-und Vertriebs is now available in four sizes. The quick-assembly polyamide six cable gland was one of the top innovations last autumn at SPS IPCDrives in Nuremberg.

In time for the Hanover trade fair, RST has now added the sizes M25 and M32 to its series. The versions M16 (5-10mm clamping range), M20 (6-12mm), M25 (11-17mm) and M32 (15-21mm), are now available. With its Euro-Top FrontFix, RST has developed the first cable gland that is suitable for front assembly on electronic housings and switch cabinets without the need for special installation tools.

Processes are shortened and the daily work involved in clamping cables is made easier, without the otherwise usual and cost-intensive threaded holes or lock nuts. Thanks to its unique anchoring system, the cable gland can be installed easily and quickly in walls with metric through-holes.

A special spring mechanism prevents the anchoring system from twisting by holding the cable gland in place without the latter having to be additionally secured inside the enclosure during the installation. This unique connection technology also allows defined tolerances in the through-holes to be bridged, particularly with thin-walled sheet metal housings and non-circular bore holes. RST offers its Euro-Top FrontFix in the colours RAL 7001 (dark grey), RAL 7035 (light grey) and RAL 9005 (black).
