Phase Invariant 0.086" cable assemblies
HUBER+SUHNER just announced a family of phase invariant cable assemblies which brings together the company’s flexible, hand formable and semi-rigid cable technologies to complete its offering in the 0.086" diameter range. HUBER+SUHNER has developed these cable assemblies specifically for phase critical applications requiring precision electrical length connectivity.
High rel stackable connectors suit new high data rate systems
Novastack board-to-board and board-to-FPC connectors fromI-PEX are in stock at Astute Electronics. I-PEX is a Dai-ichi Seiko company that designs and manufactures small form factor precision connectors for high speed and high frequency applications. The Novastack 35-HDP is a fully shielded, board-to-FPC connector with a mated height of 0.75mm on a 0.35mm pitch which includes four 2.2A power contacts.
Switches suit demanding mil/aero applications
Honeywell MICRO SWITCH TL Series Toggle Switches are now available at Aerco, the distributor and stockist of electrical and electronic components servicing hi-rel markets. The switches are sealed to MIL-DTL-3950 standard and can be specified for indoor or outdoor applications subject to shock, vibration, dust, splashing or hose-directed water. Robust and durable, MICRO SWITCH TL Series switches suit military, aerospace and other demandi...
Sensor actuator boxes speed up installation and save costs
A new range of sensor actuator boxes has been introduced by HARTING which will save users time and money by enabling faster installation and reducing the number of cable lengths required between the sensors and the control cabinet. The sensor actuator boxes are the first in a range of new compact passive I/O distributor boxes for multiple applications.
Connectors can transmit currents of up to 25A per way
Rutronik has introduced MPE-Garry’s range of high performance power connectors to its portfolio. The 724/725 series requires minimum space on the board. The new connectors can transmit currents of up to 25A per way. They are offered as pure power connectors with power contacts only and as combination connectors with a mix of power and signal contacts. The compact design of the devices is achieved using a pitch of 5.00/2.00mm.
Simpler circuit tracing for network installers with SureTrace
For many network and data cable installers, tracing UTP cables often relies upon trial and error and can be disruptive, as well as costly in terms of labour and customer down-time. To streamline and simplify this task, the SureTrace Circuit Tracer from IDEAL Industries can be used alongside IDEAL Networks testers.
Mastering field-installable connectors
The advent of the Internet of Things, the automated home and Industry 4.0 is driving the need for more connectors. Although these technologies focus on wireless networks from your phone, the network will require additional connected equipment. On the upside, the new equipment will be compatible with existing infrastructure, which is a bonus as few companies can afford to replace their existing network to install new devices, so these network...
