Schroff and Bus Solutions sign VAR agreement

Electronics packaging specialist Schroff has appointed Rochdale-based Bus Solutions as its first value-added reseller for the UK market. The agreement will enable Schroff customers to obtain highly integrated, bespoke systems in short timescales with no minimum order quantities.

Commenting on the deal, Schroff’s technical/marketing manager, Keith Reynolds, said: “Bus Solutions will take our standard VME, cPCI and MicroTCA system subracks and integrate not only the backplane, power supply and wiring but also any board-level products specified by the customer.

“In addition, the company is able to draw on the skills of its first-class engineering team to carry out any modifications necessary to meet customers’ exact requirements.”

With many years’ experience in designing systems for the defence, aerospace, railway and transportation industries, Bus Solutions will ensure that systems gain the necessary approvals covering performance parameters such as EMC, thermal efficiency and shock and vibration resistance.
