Rittal has introduced a rapid assembly subrack to save valuable time in production. The horizontal rails are pre-fitted with assembly screws and simply drop into slots in the side plates prior to being tightened up.
Called the Ripac EASY, there are five depths and two heights available, all using the same technique which eliminates the usual struggle with multiple parts when there are only two hands to support and assemble.

Suitable for standard Euroboards in 3U and 6U formats, 160mm, 220mm and 280mm board depths are catered for. Two configurations allow the use of backplanes or connectors directly mounted to the rear rails of the subrack.

To complete the package, sets of either plain or perforated covers can easily be slotted into the rail extrusions at front and rear to provide mechanical protection for the installed PCBs.
