Laird Technologies today introduces its decorative metals technology. Metal stamping is a core Laird Technologies’ competency and the decorative metals technology is drawing from that. This technology, along with the company’s core competencies, allows the company to be a single source supplier for all types of precision metal stampings saving customers time and money.
Consumer products that contain a metal enclosure or metal aesthetic accent component such as handsets, PDAs, digital cameras, modems, etc. are becoming more aesthetically pleasing in style and feel using various metals. Laird Technologies’ decorative metals technology meets this need because the company can work with all metal used in the market to create a customized-finish that meets the customer’s needs.



Laird Technologies offers precision metal stamping in Class 1 finishes in multiple metals. Class 1 aesthetic metal finishes help create customer appeal of consumer products. Laird Technologies’ can also provide various finishes and coatings on the metals can include plasma vapour deposition (PVD), laser marking and etching, plating and colour anodizing. These hard surface finishes of metal, not plastic, improve a product’s durability and appeal.
