Cable tie-mounts securely attach cables to electronic enclosures

Cable tie-mounts securely attach cables to electronic enclosures
PEM TY-D self-clinching cable tie-mounts and hooks from PennEngineering create secure metal attachment points for mounting wires and cables to electronic chassis or enclosures. The hardware installs quickly and reliably in thin steel or aluminium panels, eliminates any need for screws or adhesives, and can be positioned permanently at specified locations and angles to promote optimised layouts.

Introducing a versatile extended range of subrack modules

Introducing a versatile extended range of subrack modules
The most versatile system available on the market, the KM6 subrack family from Verotec contains three different systems, each optimised to suit a range of applications: KM6-II, KM6-RF and KM6-HD. The front panels, compatible with all KM6 versions, are a critical building block; three types are available: unshielded to IEC 60297, shielded to IEEE 1101.10 and a further design dedicated to the VXI architecture.

Brazed plate heat exchangers ensure efficient heat recovery

Today, global industry consumes a vast amount of energy. The biggest challenge is that as much as half of it is wasted due to the inefficient and complicated recovery of low-grade energy. Heat in the form of vapor, hot water, or hot air is a result of almost any production cycle, but it does not have to go to waste. With smarter systems, it can be recovered and reused for other purposes, contributing to the reduction of carbon emissions and to significant cost savings for both producers and end users.

Feet kits give enclosure safety a leg up

Feet kits give enclosure safety a leg up
New round universal case feet have been added to OKW's range of accessories for electronic enclosures. These feet can be specified with or without tilt legs, making them suitable for laboratory equipment or other desktop instrument enclosures which require a choice of viewing angles. They can be fitted to any type of plastic or metal enclosure with a wall thickness of up to 3mm with the standard screws supplied. Longer screws can be supplied for larger wall thicknesses on demand.

Housing provides all-round protection for industrial cameras

Housing provides all-round protection for industrial cameras
EVT has announced the EyeProtect housing, providing all-round protection for industrial cameras. The desired protection class and type can be reached with this housing. The protection class (class I to III) is important because it specifies the protection against contact. The protection type (IP XX) specifies the protection against the infiltration of particulate material and liquids.

DX enclosure-based cooling supports growing IT needs

DX enclosure-based cooling supports growing IT needs
In today’s data-driven business models, even small companies have to contend with growing IT needs. When they expand their computing environments and install the latest class of servers, the issue of cooling the equipment becomes acute. Legacy air-cooling systems are no longer sufficient. The Rittal LCU DX and LCP DX solutions deliver enclosure-based cooling via direct expansion units. The units are easy to install simply by mounting them on the side panels inside IT racks.
