EMKA hinge range for signage and vehicles
There are many situations where outdoor signage panels need to be opened or where vehicle locker doors need to be removed. EMKA have specifically addressed these situations with their 1031, 1056 and 1097 programs of hinges and door stays. Cases in point would include frequent change signs, e.g. at petrol stations, or storage lockers on breakdown trucks or emergency vehicles. These vehicles all need removable doors, e.g. for when they are parked u...
Light Tack Adhesive Eases Fitting of New Silicone-Free Thermal Interface Pads
MH&W International now provides U 90 silicone-free thermal interface materials (TIMs) with a new light tack adhesive to provide high thermal conductivity where contamination threats prevent the use of silicone-based thermal pads, and allow their easy positioning between components and heat sinks. MH&W’s Keratherm U 90 thermal interface material is a ceramic-filled polyurethane film with a thermal conductivity of 6.0 W/mK and thermal impedance...

New Decentralized Junction Box From Tyco Electronics Requires 50% Less Jumper Cable
With its new two-rail decentralized junction box, Tyco Electronics now offers a new way for locating junction boxes on a PV panel. Compared to the commonly used centralized junction boxes in the PV industry, the decentralized box requires 50% less jumper cable to connect to the next solar panel, as the junction boxes are located in the corner of the panels.
Need more protection from EMC than you first imagined?
Have you ever designed a piece of kit which let you down, by being susceptible to EMC, when you didn’t think it ought to be? Rittal has the answer with the Ripac Vario subrack for mounting multiple board electronic solutions in 19” (482.6mm) racks, as the range is easily upgraded from standard to EMC after it has been completed. This will provide over 40dB of shielding effectiveness at 1GHz, both for incoming and outgoing protection.
