Camdenboss - Deep Profile ABS Enclosures In Three Configurations
CamdenBoss has launched a range of stylish deep profile ABS enclosures that offers six sizes and three configurations for a multi-purpose solution to protect and house electronic equipment. The new 1100 series features modern design aesthetics accentuated by bevelled edges and two curved side walls. The base is moulded in ABS (light grey similar to RAL 7035 with other colours available on request) with three lid configurations comprising ABS (series 1101), high impact transparent polycarbonate with smoked effect (series 1102) and 1mm silver anodised aluminium (series 1103).
The lids are mounted by four M3 machine screws into brass inserts incorporated into the base and screws are hidden by included rubber plugs (ABS covers for series 1103). Recesses in lid and base are designed to accept membrane keypads and overlays, available as bespoke solutions from CamdenBoss.
Internal volume is maximised by the absence of integral guides with bosses moulded in the base to facilitate easy mounting of PCBs. Protection up to IP54 is offered by all enclosures in the 1100 series.
Six sizes of each series are available ranging from 90 x 50 x 31mm (lwh) up to 220 x 140 x 90mm. Ideal for a broad range of electrical, electronic and instrumentation applications where additional enclosure depth is crucial, the new 1100 series enclosures can also be provided customised, for example, pre-drilled with holes and vents to suit customer requirements.
