Crystek Microwave announces the release of a 2.5GHZ Phase Locked Clock Source with internal reference, the CRFS75-2500. Crystek designed the module using proprietary circuitry and Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) resonator technology to provide ultra-low jitter/phase noise performance with true SineWave output. The resulting source features -105dBc/Hz phase noise at 10KHz offset and a noise floor of -167dBc/Hz.

Crystek's CRFS75-2500 comes in a 0.75x0.75" SMT package. With 5V input voltage, it generates a true sine wave with +5dBm minimum output power. The source has no sub-harmonics; second harmonic is -20dBc typical. Frequency stability is rated at ±25ppm. The CRFS75-2500 operates from -20 to +70°C.

Applications include ADC, system clocks for network clock generators/synchronisers, clocks for DDS, test and measurement, avionics, point-to-point radios and multi-point radios.
