Designed for graphics-heavy and/or processing-intensive applications, the IMB-185 high performance Mini-ITX motherboard has been introduced by The BVM Group. With an entry level H81 chipset, the board is a cost-effective, high performance platform suitable for many embedded applications, such as video signage, gaming, automation and security video processing.

It supports Haswell 4th Generation Intel Core i7/i5/i3/Celeron processors in the LGA1150 socket with up to 16GB of dual-channel DDR3 1600MHz system memory. The IMB-185 combines heavyweight processing capability with low power consumption. Standard processor options range from 3.5GHz i3 with a TDP of 54W to a low power 3.9GHz i7 with a TDP of 45W; other variants are also available.

Intel HD graphics support VGA up to 1920x1200, HDMI 1.4a up to 4096x2304 and 24-bit dual channel LVDS; dual displays are supported. Two SATA3 6.0Gb/s and two SATA2 3.0Gb/s mass storage interfaces, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, two USB 3.0 and eight USB 2.0 ports, a mSATA and a PCIe x16 slot are provided. Three RS232 and three RS232/422/485 serial ports, a TPM header and audio I/O are also available. Input power is from an external source with both AT and ATX modes supported.
