Expanding its cost-effective Intel H81 product line, DFI announces the HD332-H81 microATX industrial motherboard. Powered by the 4th gen Intel Core processor family (which provides a 5-15% CPU performance increase over previous gens), the board is suited for applications such as gaming machines, industrial control automation, medical equipment, telecomms, POS, kiosks and transportation.

The microATX industrial motherboard features two display outputs: one VGA and one VGA/DVI-I (DVI-D signal) which supports up to 1920x1200 resolution at 60Hz. Onboard graphics include Intel HD Graphics engine with Graphics APIs (which includes DirectX 11.1 for handling tasks related to multimedia and OpenGL 4.0 for achieving hardware-accelerated rendering) and Intel Clear Video Technology, which enables enhanced high-quality and high-definition playback for Blu-ray and web content streaming.

The Intel H81-based board provides multiple expansion configurations, including one PCIe x16 slot, two PCIe x1 slots and one PCI slot. I/Os include two Intel Gigabit LAN controllers, 10 COM ports, 11 USB ports, four SATA ports, one parallel connector and an 8-bit Digital I/O connector for device controls. Also featuring Realtek ALC888 5.1-channel High Definition Audio, the HD332-H81 embedded motherboard can be expanded by installing graphics cards and other components.
