SL Power Electronics Opens Facility for German Speaking Region
SL Power Electronics Corporation, the company established earlier this year following the merger of Condor DC Power and Ault, has opened a sales and support facility to cover Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The company has also announced the appointment of Gareth Hackett as Sales Manager for the region.
The decision to establish a German facility follows a sustained period of growth and the need to more fully support SL Power’s customer base and distribution network across the German-speaking region.
According to Nigel Davies, SL Power’s European Managing Director, the new facility will not only act as a sales and marketing base for the company’s growing range of power supply products, but also as a support centre for SL Power’s local distributors. SL Power already offers a custom design and product servicing capability as well as product training out of its European headquarters in the United Kingdom.
“Our decision to open this facility is recognition of the fact that our customers in and around Germany require an ever increasing level of local support”. Says Nigel Davies. “As Germany is Europe’s largest market for the type of power supplies we manufacture, I expect the new facility to expand in scale and scope of operation in the months ahead.”
