ROHM becomes a member of CharIN

ROHM has become a regular member of the CharIN (Charging Interface Initiative), an association to develop and establish the Combined Charging System (CCS) as the standard for charging battery-powered electric vehicles of all kinds.

ROHM has assured the help to shape up and evolve the e-mobility market by providing Analogue-Power solutions of Power management ICs, resistors, and discrete devices especially SiC (Silicon Carbide) Technologies which will eventually contribute to the significant size and weight reduction of the system together with the improvement on total cost ownership.

President of ROHM Semiconductor Christian André commented: "We are delighted to be a member of expertise in the efforts of creating global standard of automotive charging system. As a pioneer in Silicon Carbide Technologies, ROHM has a clear vision to contribute to the evolution of e-mobility.
