The Elektra Awards 2015, held at the Lancaster Hotel, London, has seen the award for the Power Systems Product of the Year go to the ADM7154 low noise RF linear regulator from Analog Devices.

The Elektra Awards is an annual European electronics industry award ceremony that recognises best practice in key areas including innovation, sales growth and employee motivation. The event attracts representatives of the leading players in the electronics industry and showcases the finest new products and technology breakthroughs.

The judges selected the ADM7154, an ultra-low noise LDO (low dropout) regulator for radio frequency signal devices, for its ability to maintain its output voltage as DC power supply is varied, as well as its compact design and thermal performance. Other benefits that were considered include the transient performance and the higher PSRR (power supply rejection ratio) than competing LDOs.

“Analog Devices works passionately to ensure that we can offer industry leading products to our customers, to help them thrive in an increasingly demanding market,” commented Shalini Palmer, Regional Sales Director Northern Europe at Analog Devices. “To be recognised by the judges of the celebrated Elektra Awards is an incredible honour to the teams that worked hard to bring ADM7154 ultra-low noise regulator to market.”
