Passive components design-in distributor DMTL has signed a franchise agreement with pioneering capacitor manufacturer Cornell Dubilier Electronics, today more widely known as CDE. The deal means that DMTL adds a wide variety of high performance aluminium and film capacitor devices to its wide passive components portfolio.

DMTL, or Distributed Micro Technology, helps customers make the best use of the latest passive component technology and CDE’s product range adds to a capacitor line-up that already includes AVX, Syfer, Suncon and Holystone.

The agreement has immediate effect and, according to Pete Jones, Commercial Director at DMTL, further allows the company to work with customers to select the best capacitor solution for their application.

Comments Pete Jones, “CDE capacitors are used Worldwide across a very broad range of applications from AC motor start and DC filtering to those requiring high voltage, high temperature devices. CDE is one of the industry’s leading manufacturers and produce class leading capacitors which, when combined with our recognised design-in capability, will provide our customers with film, mica and aluminium capacitors that meet their exact requirements.”
