P. D. Circuits, Inc. announces that its Technical Director, Kathy Nargi-Toth, completed a Six Sigma Black Belt training program. Conducted by Cookson Electronics, the training course provided 200 hours of hands-on, classroom instruction and testing in the areas of DMAIC, DFSS and Lean.
Six Sigma is inspired by the quality improvement methodologies of the six preceding decades, such as quality control, Total Quality Management (TQM) and Zero Defects. Six Sigma strives to achieve stable and predictable process results that are of vital importance to business success.

“Six Sigma promotes teamwork across the supply chain through the sharing of best practices and rapid implementation of breakthrough improvement techniques. It is a perfect addition to our quality system,” commented Nargi-Toth about completing the Six Sigma Black Belt training program.

In her 25 years in the industry, Kathy has developed in-depth PCB fabrication process expertise. Kathy has worked as a process engineer for a printed circuit board fabricator, and in both technical and marketing roles for global suppliers of chemical and laminate products used in the manufacture and assembly of printed circuit boards. She continues to serve on industry boards as a technical resource.
