Ohmite, ARCOL combine on resistors

The recent acquisition by ANCRA, part of the HEICO group, has enabled Ohmite and ARCOL to combine and bring together 150 years of resistor know-how. The HEICO group is a diversified manufacturing company headquartered in Chicago. ARCOL can now offer the combined product range including resistors such as: the Ohmite high-power thick film resistor TAP1000 & 2000 series; the Audio Gold non-magnetic resistor range; and the RX-1M Hi-Meg Hermetically Sealed resistors which offer Ultra High Resistance.

The Ohmite Manufacturing Company is a provider of resistive products for high current, sensing, high voltage, and high energy applications. The company’s full complement of resistors includes wirewound, wire element, thick film, and ceramic composition.

Also included as part of the combined range is a series of rheostats, potentiometers and heat sinks.

Ohmite maintains operations in South Texas, Mexico, England and the Chicago area.
