NEC Showcases its Extensive Spectrum of Solutions at Gitex 2012

NEC will showcase its wide spectrum of business solutions for SMB and Enterprise markets at Gitex Technology Week in Dubai from 14-18 October 2012.
In Zabeel Hall, stand Z-D20, NEC will demonstrate the following:



-Unified Communications and IT solutions for enhanced business productivity

-Security solutions for safer cities

-Display and Signage solutions





Unified Communications and IT solutions for enhanced business productivity



NEC will show its latest voice, data and video communications solutions over converged networks. Using desktop and mobile endpoints for real-time Unified Communications and collaborative working, NEC's new UNIVERGE Business ConneCT UCC Employee enables audio, video, screen sharing, file sharing and more. The application supports mobility, messaging, presence management and multi-party conferencing across a multitude of devices, including PCs, smartphones and tablets.



Gitex will mark the premiere of NEC's new G266 & G566 DECT handsets that support valuable UC functionality and extensive messaging and alarm features.



Addressing virtualization, business continuity and cloud computing



NEC will demonstrate its full range of high performance end-to-end IT solutions for SMBs, branches and datacenters. These solutions address the latest IT challenges in terms of virtualization, consolidation, business continuity, cloud computing and energy efficiency.



On show will be FlexVPCC, one of the newest desktop virtualization solutions for small and medium businesses. NEC will also present its range of MasterScope Infrastructure Management Software, ideal for managing fleets of servers. NEC's Invariant Analyzer analyzes large amounts of performance metric data collected from multiple monitoring tools to automatically detect system performance anomalies and avoid potential performance problems.



Security solutions for Safer Cities



NEC will be highlighting an advanced and comprehensive suite of safety solutions to help build Safer Cities, where people are able to live, work and play in safety and comfort. This includes intelligent video surveillance solutions, facial recognition and fingerprint identification technology.



NEC's Human Behavior Monitoring Solution, for instance, automatically detects events such as intrusion, loitering and abandoned objects, by analyzing videos captured from cameras. Features of High Sensitivity Camera and License Plate Recognition technology will also be on show. NEC's facial recognition technology excels in high speed processing and accuracy, enabling real-time identification of people in video footage.



Cloud solutions for telecom operators



NEC will also demonstrate its cloud platform solutions dedicated to telecom operators. The Carrier Cloud Service Broker will enable telecom operators to provide cloud-based ICT services such as SaaS, IaaS, Paas and VDI to their enterprise customers securely and easily over their network assets



Display and signage solutions on show



NEC Display Solutions will also be displaying a new range of products that include new high output projectors, LED video wall solutions and next generation LED backlight large format displays. Experts from across the company will be on hand to demonstrate and discuss NEC's innovations and solutions optimised for airport, QSR, control room, rental and staging and corporate and conference environments.



Complimenting NEC Security Solutions will be a video wall for command and control and NOC applications, incorporating the latest NEC X463UN full HD direct LED displays.



Those in the education sector can come to the stand to see demonstrations of the latest UM and M Series, the latest generation of projectors with market leading TCO benefits. There will also be a 3D demonstration for education and the latest multi-touch large format display for the classroom. In addition, a solution area for transportation and signage featuring a video wall and professional LED displays that are being deployed for flight information display system use and professional signage for retail and corporate applications.
