NEC Electronics Europe to Exhibit at Equip Auto 2007

NEC Electronics Europe today announced its participation in the automotive fair Equip Auto 2007 being held October 15 through 20 at the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center. The NEC Electronics booth will be featuring the company’s embedded automotive solutions including leading-edge IMAPCAR (Integrated Memory Array Processor for CAR) technology for driving assistance and vision processing.
In Hall 6, Aisle K, Booth 4 NEC Electronics will highlight their latest microcontroller innovations presented in real automotive environments.

Body: the F and K Series comprise 8-bit and 32-bit devices that are tailored to typical requirements of comfort applications, with a special focus on low power.

Dashboard: the 32-bit D Series featuring scalable memory from 128 kB to 2 MB flash together with companion graphics chips covers all possible dashboard applications, from standard needle clusters to high-end colour TFT dashboards.

Audio: the 32-bit S Series in 3.3 V is a controller solution for automotive audio systems. Where additional connectivity features such as USB and compressed audio decoding are required, NEC Electronics provides a plug & play answer.

Safety: the 32-bit R Series and IMAPCAR vision controller cover the whole automotive field from passive applications, such as restraint control modules, to active safety such as collision warning.

Chassis: the 32-bit P Series, featuring efficient embedded safety diagnostics and FlexRay interfaces is ready for these highly safety-relevant segments.

Other products demonstrated at the booth will include powerMOS and intelligent power devices.
