Now available from cherrykeyboardsrus.co.uk, a joint venture website between Cherry Keyboards and Horsham based electronics component distributor, Aerco, is a new mouse specifically designed for people using laptops and notebooks in transit.
The Cherry PASSENGER Traveller–Mouse M-T3000 is a small, three button, wireless device that provides flexibility, comfort and functionality to laptop users particularly during prolonged use, such as on long journeys, where an external mouse is much more convenient. The 1,000 dpi optical sensor provides a fast and accurate response and it has a soft-touch surface that maximises user comfort.

A USB receiver/transmitter fits into the laptop USB port when in use and when not it is stored neatly inside the mouse housing and it automatically switches off to avoid accidental power use. The PASSENGER, uses 27MHz technology, to transmit to the USB receiver over distances of up to 1.2m.

The use of sophisticated energy saving technology means that the two AA batteries will last for a number of weeks at constant use because after even a short break in use the reading rate of the optical sensor is reduced, cutting the energy consumption. A red light in the mouse wheel indicates when power is low so total discharge can be avoided.

The PASSENGER Traveller-Mouse can be purchased from cherrykeyboardsrus.co.uk, using all major credit cards.
