Live Electronics launches as specialist e-mech distributor

Managing Director Claire Childs started her career with C&K Switches, before spending several years with Deltron (now part of the Abacus Group) managing their switch franchises. Sales Office Manager Peter Watson has worked in electrical/electronic component distribution over many years, with a strong focus on e-mech products. Between them, they have a wealth of experience which spans over half a century.



Initially the company has signed franchise deals with Idec and Dailywell. Headquartered in Japan with worldwide sales offices, Idec’s range includes miniature and sub-miniature control units, pushbuttons, pilot lights, key and selector switches and control relays. Dailywell is a Taiwanese manufacturer of a wide switch product range including toggle, rocker, tact, rotary, slide, DIP and illuminated devices.



More, Live Electronics is in the late negotiation stages to sign six other brand-leading franchises. Additionally, the company has a team in place in Asia which can source hard-to-find products that complement the franchise offering.
