Midlands-based contract electronics manufacturer, LCL Electronics, has recently expanded its reach into new markets including education equipment, handheld electronics, leisure and food production equipment. Adding to its more traditional areas of production of LED lighting, medical diagnostics, audio, rail, fire safety and signaling, LCL is backed by a very strong technical team and can help customers right from the start of product design and procurement through to testing and delivery, on-time and to budget.

Recent projects included PCBs for swimming pool heating controls and food counter heating systems for cruise ships.

Judy Hatton, LCL’s Commercial Manager said, “Contract manufacturing spans all sorts of electronic products and markets. We are keen to explore new areas of where our technical capabilities and experience can help customers achieve a reduction in production time and cost".

"We’ve found that our global purchasing expertise coupled with our capabilities in providing an established, managed full service lead to customers returning to us time after time.”

LCL Electronics provides a full turnkey manufacturing solution, including prototype, pre-production and medium volumes of PCBs, product build and cable harnessing.

With its comprehensive manufacturing facility, which includes fine pitch, micro BGA, and BGA assembly with ERSA scope inspection and rework stations, as well as automated through hole assembly, LCL is well placed to offer competitive procurement, assembly and testing packages.

The flexibility of production equipment coupled with its extensive technical expertise and knowledge allows LCL to offer prototype right through to high volume build quantities in both surface mount and through hole printed circuit assembly.
