Juki Automation Systems, Inc. kicked off the celebration for its 25,000th machine shipped worldwide with a successful IPC APEX Expo. The three-day event boasted a whirlwind of booth traffic for the company as well as a great deal of interest in the new exclusive technology showcased in the secret room.
“Booth traffic was strong throughout the show. The fact that we now offer a turnkey solution was important to many attendees that I spoke with. Many people were familiar with the quality of Juki equipment and with the strong reputation of our service and support team. As I told many people at the show, it is a great time to partner with Juki,” commented Steve Nadeau, Juki’s National Sales Manager.

The FX-3R super high-speed mounter and KE-3010 high-speed chip shooter were displayed together with the KE-3020V high-speed flexible mounter as one production line, drawing a great deal of interest at the booth. The upgraded FX-3R now features a maximum throughput of up to 100,000CPH (IPC9850).

Juki saw a strong demand for the award-winning FSW620 dual nozzle selective soldering system and the newly unveiled Sentry on the KE-2070/2080 line, bringing together the fastest RCFA tool in the industry and combining it with visual traceability. Additionally, there was strong interest in the company’s LED placement solutions that include software modifications, custom nozzles, and up to 1200 mm board length support

Juki continues to lead the SMT placement industry and pioneer high-quality equipment. The new CKG and JT equipment were both formally introduced at the show with very positive feedback. Additionally, the Juki TTC (Track, Trace, Control) software from Cogiscan was very popular. Furthermore, Juki’s two NPI Awards from Circuits Assembly for its Sentry and NPI+ demonstrated the company’s continued commitment to innovation.

“Being located in the back corner of the exhibit hall, we had to work even harder this year to create a visual and a buzz to attract attendees our way. I do not know if it was the reputation of our equipment, the many new product innovations that we had on display, or just our reputation for great service and support, but the booth traffic was the best I have seen in my tenure with Juki. Thank you to IPC and San Diego for putting together such a great show,” commented Geron Ryden, Juki’s Director of Marketing.
