IP66-rated control stations available for hobbyists

The products, already popular with electrical installers and maintenance engineers, will now be available to amateur electronics enthusiasts and hobbyists over the counter from more than 200 stores nationwide.

Manufactured by DE Controls, Hylec-APL's manufacturing arm, the control stations combine tough IP67 enclosures with hard wearing IP rated push button and selector switches; helping installers to reduce time spent on-site. Thanks to 5mm thick ABS walls, the control stations are extremely robust, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor use in domestic, commercial and industrial applications.

The control stations feature design considerations, such as a time-saving snap-on bracket mounting feature. The brackets are available in DIN rail (DED) or chassis / wall mounting (DEF) options and, because they are snap-on, do not compromise the IP rating of the enclosure.
