Industry’s First USB-IF Compliant Type-C PD-PHY
NXP Semiconductors N.V., today announced the availability of PTN5100, Type-C baseband Power Delivery Physical layer (PD-PHY), the latest IC addition to its total USB Type-C solution for a wide range of platforms including notebooks, desktops, PC accessories and mobile connected devices. Cementing its innovative leadership in Type-C, the PTN5100 with USB-IF compliance is pivotal in easing Type-C design and growing the ecosystem for Type-C solutions.
