Huawei wins the Most innovative service enabled by IMS with its IMS based Convergent Conference solution at the IMS World Forum 2012 in Madrid.
Huawei Convergent Conference solution is based on a standard IMS architecture and makes audio conference, web conference and video conference accessible from any access network using any terminal including High Definition end-points and Telepresence rooms. Based on IMS, Huawei Convergent Conference natively interworks with legacy communication networks such as PSTN, voice over broadband, 2G, 3G and LTE networks.

The solution also interconnects with legacy video conferencing system and other vendor’s Telepresence rooms. The service is as interoperable and easy-to-use as a legacy voice call thanks to a very intuitive web interface. With Huawei leading video processing technologies, the bandwidth consumption can be saved up to 50% without compromising the experience which improves the service coverage significantly.

Huawei IMS based Convergent Conference delivers the 'conferencing anywhere' promise. The solution helps carrier to operate a new service and to unleash their conferencing values, by providing true interoperability. The solution eventually helps carriers to increase the ARPU and to enhance the loyalty of their business userssays Doctor Wang, President of Huawei Core Network product line.

By the end of 2012 Q1, Huawei has deployed more than 60 Convergent Conference solutions for both commercial and trial purposes globally, serving some of the leading operators in the world.
