Green Hills Software Launches Embedded Virtualization Business Unit

Green Hills Software has announced its new Embedded Virtualization Business Unit, representing a significant investment and commitment to virtualization in the embedded and special-purpose computing market. The business unit’s flagship product, INTEGRITY Secure Virtualization (ISV), supports hosting of Windows, Linux, VxWorks and other general purpose operating systems in secure virtual containers on ARM, Intel, Power and other processor architectures.

The introduction of the Embedded Virtualization Business Unit further advances Green Hills Software’s complete software solution through industry-leading technology and expertise:

- advanced multicore development and debug tools that configure, build and analyze software in a virtualization system
- a flexible hybrid virtualization architecture supporting real-time application requirements as well as general purpose operating systems, including Linux, Windows, VxWorks and others
- a comprehensive middleware software suite providing networking, graphics and connectivity
- expert engineering services focused on complete integration and delivery to
