A partnership, as part of the GATE program (GOEPEL Associated Technical Experts), has been struck between GOEPEL electronic and Swedish company AddQ Consulting. The company based in Stockholm and Gothenburg is a leading provider of high-value-added Test and Measurement Solutions and offers training in the field of test and measurement systems and quality management.

“We are glad to have AddQ as a strategic partner in our GATE expert network. It is a solid step forward and the logical consequence of our efforts to distribute the Embedded System Access (ESA) technology”, says Frank Amm, corporate GATE program Manager. “Together with our new and innovative partner we can provide our Swedish customers even better local support and service covering advanced products and technologies.”

“It’s a great pleasure welcoming such a well-established and recognized Partner as AddQ Consulting in our local GATE team”, adds Lars Kongsted-Jensen from the Nordic & Baltic distributor EP-TeQ. “With AddQ’s expertise and enthusiasm in testing the increasing number of GOEPEL electronic Extended JTAG/Bscan customers on the Swedish Market can choose a strong local partner for consultancy, application development, training and support. Especially with the need for change in testing, from the “outside in” method towards testing from the “inside out”, using Embedded System Access (ESA), makes it essential for us to have such strong local Partners”.

“Testing PCBAs is getting more complex every year. Using traditional testing methods such as functional testing is not always efficient, especially when it is getting harder and harder to actually measure on the PCBA due to increasingly complexity of circuits” states Petter Salomonsson, CEO of AddQ Consulting.  “By becoming a selected GATE member with GOEPEL electronic, AddQ will have a very strong position in PCBA testing by combining our knowledge with GOEPEL electronic’s boundary scanning technology and the next generation of testing using ESA (Embedded System Access)”
