Fox releases updated oscillator brochure
Fox Electronics has published an updated XpressO brochure which includes the full line of XpressO-ULTRA oscillators. These devices provide improved phase noise and reduced jitter for modern high-speed data transmissions with rigorous requirements such as 40 and 100GbE WAN/LANs, 16 and 32Gb fibre channel, 6 and 12Gbps SAS/SATA storage and high speed OTNs.
The updated brochure includes data on the latest ultra precision oscillators, including typical phase noise, jitter and a model description selection guide. this guide aids users in determining the model number appropriate for their application by choosing between available options for output, package size, voltage as well as stabilities, operating temperature range and frequency. This results in a semi-custom oscillator which is optimised to the user’s specifications.
A comparison of the XpressO-ULTRA and original XpressO oscillator performance helps users determine which product family is most appropriate for their specific application. Compared to the XpressO oscillators, the XpressO-ULTRA series are suited a greater number of data transmission applications with improved phase jitter to 250fs (from 12kHz to 20MHz) and in some models, as low as 100fs (1.875-20 MHz) typical.
