FCT Assembly announces that on February 1, 2013, Global Stencil became part of Fine Line Stencil, a subsidiary of FCT Assembly. Global Stencil has a great reputation and Fine Line Stencil plans to continue to fulfill customer needs with great products and service.
Global Stencil’s Founder Greg Smith will continue to be involved with the company and has assumed the role of Regional Sales Manager and Technical Support for Fine Line Stencil, FCT Solder and A-Laser, providing the added benefits associated with these divisions.

On January 1, 2013, Fine Line Stencil also purchased MRC, a stencil manufacturer in Richardson, Texas. The company will relocate the Grand Prairie facility to the new Richardson location to be more centrally based for faster delivery and better support. John Monk, previously the Production Manager of MRC, now will oversee the combined production groups of the Dallas-based Global Stencil and MRC. John has been servicing the Dallas stencil market for more than five years and will continue to offer premier service and products to FCT’s customers.

The Austin facility will remain in its current location and will continue to be run by Hugo Delarosa and his handpicked staff. Customers will receive the same quality and service that has been delivered under the Global Stencil name.

“I am proud to announce the expansion of our stencil division with the acquisition of Global Stencil and MRC,” stated Mike Scimeca, President of FCT Assembly. “We now have added capacity and a larger footprint in the Texas area. The ability to manufacture step stencils in-house allows us to provide one-day turnaround times.”
